Walk a Volcano is an iPad app, which gives basic information about ten select volcanoes in the Pacific Northwest. The volcanoes include Mt Rainier, Mt St Helens, Mt Hood, Mt Adams, Three Sisters, Lava Butte, Rocky Butte (Joseph Wood Hill Park), Battle Ground Lake, and Beacon Rock.

The app includes pictures, basic information about the volcano, eruption risk, and things to do. Visiting the volcanoes is a great family trip! Several of the volcanoes can be visited in the same day. You and your children (or out of town guests) can swim in a volcano, hike a volcano, bike a volcano, picnic on a volcano or drive to a volcano and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Most of the volcanoes are extinct and are city or state parks.
